Darren Millar: Good morning, everybody, and welcome to the Public Accounts Committee. I will just remind you that this is a meeting of the National Assembly for Wales, which is a bilingual institution, and people should feel free to contribute to the meeting in either English or Welsh as they see fit. Headsets are available for both translation and sound amplification, for those who need it. I encourage everybody to switch off their mobile phones, BlackBerrys and pagers, as these can interfere with the broadcasting equipment. I remind everybody to follow the instructions of the ushers if there is an emergency. We have not received any apologies, so we will go straight into item 2.

Papurau i’w Nodi Papers to Note
Darren Millar: We have a number of papers to note. First we have some correspondence relating to the changes to the committee timetable. We also have a paper from the Cabinet Office giving some clarification on the evidence that we received when we looked at the civil emergencies paper. We also have some minutes from our previous meeting. Can I take it that those are noted? I see that I can, and so we will move on to item 3.

Darren Millar: I move that
the committee resolves to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting in accordance with Standing Order No. 17.42(vi).
I see that the committee is in agreement.
